The previous septic company I was using was bought by a bigger company, after which it got harder to reach an actual human when calling them, and there were delays in getting service. I called Mathis and reached a human right away, and arranged for a pumping and check of the tank. The technician was quick and thorough and explained the parts of the tank and finished the pumping. I just had great service from Michael with Mathis and Sons Septic. Needing the help of a septic company right before a holiday, weekend, especially when you have an out-of-town company coming, is NEVER a good feeling. I called Mathis and Sons this morning, and they answered and were very professional and polite. They asked me what issues I was having and where I was located. They asked when I would like someone to come out. I was praying for the same day, and they said no problem, we can have someone come around noon. Took my info and told me the service person would be Michael and that he would call when on his way. That is exactly what happened. He showed up with a great attitude and started on the inspection of our septic tank. Luckily, it was just a clogged filter, but you never know. I had them pump the tank and clean the filter. The entire process was about 30-45 min. he was informative and interactive during the service. Michael shared that he has been with the company for 10 years, which says a lot. Thanks, Mathis & Sons, and Michael, for making a stressful situation all better. I highly recommend them.
